Agreed. Their music is good, especially when you consider the other stuff that was around then, and it’s held up really well. But… Maybe it’s because I’m from Liverpool, and they’re the only thing that most people associate with this city. I don’t know. I just wish everyone realised that other really great bands have come out of this area, and also that you can accept that the Beatles made some decent music without having to worship the ground that they walk on. And also, for the record: just because I’m a Scouser, doesn’t mean I love this band.

And, as an aside, Ring Starr is a complete douche and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise.
